Wow I was on bbiab mode for months! How quickly time flies. And lots happened..actually lots of wedding celebs happened (yes yes I know how many weddings does one need? well, in my case it's four heehee..).
So.... we been busy with receptions held in Malaysia on 20th December, then finale in India on the 29th April. Can't believe we survived the volcanic ash polava. Had to delay the reception another week as I was stuck here in UK and didn't fly out until the following week. Panic strickened, lots of palpitations, sleepless nights next to 24-7 skype online and Sky News updates. And my facebook activity for that week was unbelievable. Almost non-stop as the Icelandic volcano spitting lava out. I promised myself I will try and always remember how to spell the mouthful volcano - Eyjafjallajökull (well ok this time I cut pasted just because...I can :P).
India was absolutely marvellous apart from the 47 degrees celcius summer. We did the breathtaking north Golden Triangle Tour to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. It was meant to be after the reception but plan changed as I arrived late. Parents and 3 nephews tagged along. I have always wondered what's the fuss with Taj Mahal and now that I have seen it, I can only say...ditto to all the praises. It's hard to describe. Despite the heat, the crowd, it was absolutely magical and almost surreal feeling.
We met so many nice people from different backgrounds. Never short of visitors and well wishers. The food is the the best.
Certainly look forward to our next trip!
